| Founders Note |
|
Almost 20 years ago, our family founded a company with the goal of redefining the production of content and how it can be monetized. Since our focus was on supporting the scientific, technical and medical (STM) publishing areas, we named the new company TechBooks.
We've enjoyed great success over the past two decades, thanks to long-standing customer relationships and a passionate commitment to customer satisfaction. The publishing industry continues to be the foundation of our business. At the same time, a growing number of companies are realizing the need for content transformation solutions to cope with today's data-intensive business practices. Our company has expanded its content management services to additional industry verticals. For that reason, in 2007 we changed our name to Aptara.
But in some ways nothing has changed over the years. Aptara continues to represent a commitment to the highest level of service, acting as a true partner to our customers. We constantly refine our software development and workflow collaboration processes to ensure maximum efficiency and satisfaction. A highly skilled workforce of over 3,700 employees working in the United States, India, the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia shares this commitment.
Sincerely,
Rakesh Gupta (Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder)
Anita Gupta (Co-founder)
Neal Gupta (Director and Co-Founder)
