FALLS CHURCH, VA, (January 27, 2006) – Aptara, the global leader in integrated content transformation solutions, has announced that its president and CEO Ranjit Singh will be a featured panelist at the ASIDIC Spring 2006 meeting. ASIDIC brings together leading publishers, aggregators, universities, libraries, associations, and investors to discuss trends in the use of electronic information. In addition, Aptara's Iris Hanney will serve as co-chair for the event.
ASIDIC Spring 2006 will run March 12-14, 2006 at the Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Fort Myers, Florida. This year’s Spring event: “Digitization: From Inception To Income,” will examine how organizations are adapting to the transformation underway within industries that digitize and convert data. The program will also address the challenges and benefits inherent in each step of the digitization process, including content selection, data/image conversion, distribution, and partnerships.
“Few events bring together such a distinguished and diverse set of experts to discuss the most pressing digital content challenges and trends across multiple industries,” said Mr. Singh. “ASIDIC’s Spring Event is a must-attend for any organization that provides or consumes content transformation services.”
Mr. Singh will participate on the Content Conversion panel at 11:15am on Monday, March 13. The panel features executives from content management providers who will discuss ways to effectively digitize content into multiple electronic formats, and the challenges associated with this process.
